The Poose got his first "sensible" haircut... Maybe in 2008? Somewhere around 2 1/2. I'm sure he had his second one in March of 2009, and hasn't had one since. All the curls are back! We have a deal: as long as he will consent to washing of said curls 5-7 times per week, and daily brushing, they can stay as long as he likes them (or until the mullet look becomes unmistakable). I figure we can fight about his hair later. And yes, I saved a curl from his first haircut (which his Daddy and I did ourselves) with the date, so I actually would know when it happened. Even have a keepsake box to put it in... Can't say I'm in that big a hurry for him to grow up. Thinking about putting a brick on his head to slow him down... I’m with you. My boys got their first haircuts back in October at 20 months old and we kept all the hair for each in a ziploc bag along with their certificates. My brother still has the hair from his first haircut as a baby and he is now 32. For years it was kept in one of the plastic sheeting of his baby album and I always remembered it was a little creepy but a tradition I wished to continue with my own boys. Besides, that baby hair is so much nicer than anything that has grown out of his head in the last 30 years! Glad to see you back!
